The subject of the meeting – expansion of Turkmen-Austrian business partnership.
On October 1 the meeting was held with the Trade Advisor of the Embassy of Republic of Austria in Turkmenistan (residence in Nur-Sultan) Rudolf Taler at the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Greeting guest the Chairman of the TUIE noted with satisfaction the dynamics of successfully developing dialogue of business circles of two countries. As an example, it was named the contacts in cattle breeding field, recently starting export of Turkmen melons to Vienna, as well as the frequency and effectiveness of holding of Turkmen-Austrian meetings at the level of business structures, the work of Union Trade Representation in Austria.
Rudolf Taler was informed about the main economic performance of the TUIE, export capacity of Turkmen entrepreneurs and their increasing opportunities in the development of domestic touristic sphere.
Acquiring information with satisfaction the trade representative of Austria expressed his opinion for the intensification of trade-economic cooperation of the business representatives of two country, underlining his intentions to fully support to it.
Plans were discussed during the conversation regarding the implementation of common tourist projects taking into account the huge tourist potential and recreational capabilities of our country. Among the promising directions of cooperation were named: agro-industrial complex, using high technologies, the establishment of productions for subsoil resources processing, etc.
Identifying the importance of holding of business forums on regular basis in order to develop the general approaches to single platform formation for further effective cooperation, the meeting participants agreed to support in organization of one these forums, scheduled in December in Ashgabat.
The heads of international and trade departments of the TUIE, also the representative of the Trade Representation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in Republic of Austria, “Rysgal” newspaper editor took part in the meeting.
