The achievements of the private sector in import substitution sphere were demonstrated at a specialized exhibition.

The International exhibition of import substitution and production technologies organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan has started its work on 4th December at the capital shopping center “Chandybil”.

A considerable part of exhibitors made up enterprises of a non-state sector of the national economy. The guest delegations are represented by the companies from Europe and CIS countries, interested in long-term cooperation with Turkmen partners.

The members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan demonstrate their achievements and potentials in the production of the high-quality import substitution and export-oriented food products, produced on the base of ecologically clean domestic raw materials. The significant part of entrepreneurs’ expositions are devoted to the success in establishing of import substitution industrial enterprises.

Several documents have been signed within the exhibition. Among them, the contract on supplying of sunflower seeds for growing in Turkmenistan concluded between “Gündogar Akymy” ES and “Syngenta Agro AG” Swiss company.  As well as the agreement have been signed between “Agzybir Ojak” ES and “ERENSOY Gida Ve Ambalaj Makinalari San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Şti” and “EKTAM Makine San. Ýe Tic. A.S.” Turkish companies on the procurement of technologies for the production of bottle products and the agreement on the purchase and installation of equipment for the packaging of refined oil.

In the course of the exhibition, which will be lasted till 6th December are held bilateral meetings, discussed issues on the establishment of directs contacts between goods producers, a foundation of joint ventures with the involvement of foreign companies.
