Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan participated in USAID Trade forum.

More than 25 representatives of the private sector of Turkmenistan took part in eighth Central Asia Trade Forum, held on 17-18 October in Tashkent.

The event was jointly organized by the USAID Competitiveness, Trade and Job Creation Project in Central Asia and the Ministry for Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This year, the business forum, which is a platform for the development of regional trade and an interactive platform for finding potential partners, has been held for the first time in Uzbekistan and brought together more than 1,600 delegates from 25 countries, including representatives of the public and private sectors of Central Asia, Europe and the United States of America.

Information on the achievements and perspectives of the activities carried out by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan was given in the report of the head of the economic department of the Union “Regional trade and investments”.

Within the forum, Turkmen entrepreneurs held a number of meetings and negotiations on the supply of their products to foreign markets, as well as, participated in the trade exhibition.

Producer of fruit and vegetable canned products “Ýakyn dost”, “Bäş Derek” enterprise, specialized on production of plastic products, tubes and other materials under the “Aziýa Plastik” trademark, producer of sticky tape from polyethylene, as well as, air and oil filter for automobiles “Berk Önüm” individual enterprise showed their products for export in displays of specialized view. “Güneşli syýahat” and “Rowaç-AB” individual touristic enterprises effectively demonstrated popular routes on reserved natural places of Turkmenistan and worldwide famous historical-cultural monuments of the country.
