The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (TUIE) is a public organization, which activity is directed at support of a small-scale and medium-scale business in Turkmenistan, assistance in the development of a private sector of the national economy, the formation of a modern enterprise infrastructure.

Created in 2008 on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs uniting regional branches represents today an actively growing business community. At present, the organization strength is more than 20900 and at private enterprises and in various enterprise spheres more than  10000 people activity work.

TUIE plays a significant role in modernization and diversification of Turkmen economy branches, increase in volumes of production and expansion of assortment of high-quality products, provision of food abundance in Turkmenistan.

The Members of the Union actively participate in the development of various branches, the creation of innovative productions on the output of the goods possessing high competitiveness in the internal and foreign market. They are involved in the spheres of trade, public catering, agriculture, food-processing industry branches, textile, sewing, furniture, shoe manufacturers, etc. The representatives of a private sector conduct major work in the area of education, tourism, physical culture and sports, render advertising and publishing services.

The Members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs realize large construction projects in Ashkhabad and regions of the country, participate in the formation of the infrastructure of the Turkmen sea resort - National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.

The main document regulating the TUIE activity is the Law on the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

TUIE is a founder of the Joint-Stock-commercial Bank “Rysgal” and the Entrepreneurship School, the Constitutor of the first private newspaper of the country – “Rysgal”.

Representing the interests of business circles both in Turkmenistan and at the international level, the Union has opened its trade missions in China, the United Arab Emirates, and Austria. Its representatives take part in international exhibitions held abroad and other business events.

Among the strategic objectives of the organization is to bring to 2020 the contribution of a non-state sector of the economy in GDP of the country up to 70 percent (a fuel-energy complex exclusive).

TUIE sees its mission in the consolidation of efforts of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan directed at improvement of business environment, the increase of the Turkmen business status in the country and in the world.
